“Out of the mountain of despair, a stone of hope.” Written on the side of this slice of rock, is a reference to a line in Dr King’s 1963, ‘I Have A Dream’ Speech. This is the Martin Luther King Jr Memorial in Washington, DC.

My husband served in the US Army for 24 years. Everywhere he went, every unit he was in, he would receive a coin and he would give it to me. I loved collecting them and knew someday I’d get him a case to display them in.

Found these randomly in a parking lot while chasing Pokémon lol. This #filtered photo is simple but that little bit of #bokeh in the background still makes me happy. The things we find when we aren’t looking 😊 #EnjoyLife

There are 5 stray kitties in our neighborhood. I knew about Sir Mittens Fluffington III, as my son calls him 😂 but just after our Lucyfur died I discovered there were 4 more. They look to all maybe be from the same litter.

Im at a loss of words on what to wish everyone this brand #NewYear … I think I wish you a perfectly average year, where we can see our families, hug our besties, and live life with just enough normalcy to give us back a little of what #2020 stripped away. #HappyNewYear 🥳 #2021

#GreylagGeese vs #CanadianGeese the Greylags are back. They’re new and different for me so I’m happy when I see them. I didn’t want the residents left out so I took their pictures too. Had an actual camera this time lol. Hope everyone had a great weekend. #enjoythelittlethings

I was out driving around a little this morning, playing #PokemonGo truth be told, when I ran across this #gaggle of strange looking geese. The #geese in this area are typically #Canadian, but sometimes you get lucky and see something different. I googled this one, and it seems like they are #GreylagGeese please excuse the crappy #iPhonePhoto but I refuse to upgrade from my 8+ 😆. Did you know that a group of geese on the ground or water are considered a gaggle but when they are migrating in large groups through the air they are considered a flock? Don’t know about you but I learned something today. #MarylandWildlife
