Thirsty Thursday | Spring has Sprung

Over the weekend, I headed to my normal stomping grounds: Brookside Gardens.  It was so nice out and I have been locked inside since late Fall, especially with the move and everything.  So it was very nice to get out and about.  A couple of weeks ago I had a pretty bad fall, sprained a glut and bruised my hip, so I wasn’t really supposed to be doing that much walking, but not for nothing, it felt REALLY good to be out.  Sun on my skin, breeze in my hair, (Tissues in my pocket LOL)… I missed that place.

Everything was green, covered in blossoms, or both… just beautiful.  Everyone seemed to have the same idea as me.  They were even hosting a prom when I arrived.  I tried to stay out of the prom goers way, but the rest of the gardens I tried to visit.  I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many people there at once.  As much as I hate crowds, I barely noticed them.  When I am behind my camera I think of little other than the shot I’m trying to get.  It was nice to be out again.  I’ll have to do it again soon…. just not too soon.  I don’t want any setbacks and I was a bit achy after my little adventure (shhh, don’t tell my doctor lol).

Did you have a late spring where you are or did Mother Nature cooperate?
