Chilled | Saturday Afternoon Snow

Cee’s Black and White photo challenge for this week is Chilled.

Saturday’s forecast said snow.  However, when I woke up the sun was out and it was ever so slightly above freezing, so I thought the weatherman was just wrong.  I got up and was out the door by 10am.  We have been trying to find somewhere to live.  (no luck so far, btw) I was told by the agent that the area we were in was expecting snow around 4pm.  It was about 1pm then.  So I decided that’s enough house hunting for one day, it was disappointing and depressing anyway.  I wanted to go to the outlet, which was about a half hour away, and get my two replacement bowls from Le Creuset.  So that is what I did.  Heading over the Virginia border, I could see the first snow flakes starting to fall.  How bad could it be right? As always, the snow really wasn’t the problem, the other drivers were.

The photo above was taken at the cemetery through my windshield.

Once we were back to our area, I decided to stop by the cemetery to stock up on Poke-balls.  I did one loop and headed home.  Oddly enough, it was snowing harder at home than it was where we came from, the roads were starting to get slick and it was definitely time to head in.

    1. You know what? It was snowing Saturday when I took that shot, but it was 73° yesterday, supposed to be even warmer today. Mother Nature is having a hot flash it seems lol. At least I got to enjoy that beautiful snow on Saturday.

    1. I think we have 😊. We’ll have to wait and see. The snow was the big puffy kind I love so much lol so even thought I snapped that shot through my windshield I thought it came out pretty nice. I’m glad you enjoyed it as well. Enjoy the rest of your day and I hope to see you again soon.
