The Daily Post’s photo prompt for this week is Variations.
I never made it to the conservatory before the New Year… I was just so busy that it slipped through the cracks of things that I wanted to do. So this photo is a couple of years old. Howard Peter Rawlings Conservatory does this huge poinsettia display during the holidays. The Conservatory operates on donations only so they sell these gorgeous flowers to help keep visits to this beautiful place free. I had never really realized how many colors of poinsettia there were. I’m sure they come in more variations than I have seen here, but I still feel grateful to have decided to visit at the time I did to see these beautiful plants.
That is a beautiful photo of pointsettas!

They’re glorious! I like them best still in the conservatory – they’re a bit too messy for me in the home! My husband brings me one every year and much as I love the way they look I have a way of killing them off no matter what I do!

I’m not big on poinsettia, but they are nice to look at. Not sure I could keep one alive either, so you’re in good company lol
