Cee has given us dealers choice for this weeks black and white photo.

The Pratt Street Power Plant, which sits in the Baltimore Inner Harbor, served as the main power source for smaller railway systems which served as local, citywide public transit in the early 1900’s. Today, it serves as home to various bars, restaurants and shops. I can honestly say I’ve never been interested in going in to the Power Plant, but I am always taken by how striking it is from the outside.
This is a full color shot of the back of the Power Plant. I took it from this angle, and I’m glad that I did, because there is a big ship that blocks part of the view preventing you from taking a straight on shot from must across the water. Anyway, I love how the blue in the building stands out so brilliantly from the brick face of the building. What do you think?
Thanks so much for playing along. 😀
