The Daily Post’s photo prompt this week is Silence.
Before we moved to Maryland I wanted to take one last trip out to the Paint Mines. The unfortunate part about wanting to take this trip was that it was snowing, rather had snowed when I decided to take this trip. So it wasn’t the safest idea to come up with, so taking a few far away shots was as close as I could get. The pathway goes downhill and then you enter the mines and I didn’t want to fall on the rocks. So I snapped a couple of photos and headed back to my car.
It was so cold and windy that day, but it was also eerily quiet. So when I saw the Silence prompt, this was the first photo I thought of. That being said, I love seeing all the rich colors peeking out from beneath the blanket of snow. So what do you think of this photo?
It’s beautiful 🙂 🙂 But cold!

Incredibly so lol. I’ll never forget how the wind felt on my face, it made tears stream down my cheeks lol.

Ours currently is all over the place. It was so cold just a couple of days ago, but today it’s 64º and I’m airing out the house a bit. It’s like a heat wave LOL.
