Favorite | Hibiscus Bud

The Daily Post’s photo prompt this week is Favorites.  I literally have three favorite photos from 2017.  Two I’ve posted and one I have saved.  The saved one is the subject of this post.

While wandering through the trees at Brookside Gardens, I happened upon this bridge, which I shared a while back.

The flowers in this shot don’t look like much, but the area was very beautiful.  After I took a couple of snaps of the bridge, I got some photos of the surrounding plantlife.  This shot:

ended up being my favorite one.  It doesn’t look like much, it isn’t even the prettiest photo I’ve taken this year.  But that lone little pink bud in the sea of green, well, it just made me happy.  Still does when I look at it.  My other favorites of 2017 are:

I used this pretty orange flower to make a promotional magnet for the blog.  It was a prototype that came out a lot better than I’d expected.  I have a few left if anyone wants one.  You can email me at SunshinesSnapshot@gmail.com if you would like an SS magnet.  First three to provide me with an address get a magnet.  I probably won’t mail them out until the new year, but I won’t forget.

Okay so that’s it.  What was your favorite shot of 2017?  If you posted it on your blog, make sure you post your link below.
