Sand | Swept Sand

Dutch Goes the Photo has a Sand challenge this week.  It’s right up my ally… I love the beach.

Early in the mornings down in Ocean City, Maryland you can hear the rakers out.  They make these nice lines in the sand, while cleaning up some of the debris from the day before.  When you get closer you can see the tractor tire tracks in the sand, I love that.  So I always get shots of the freshly swept sand, even if it does already have a few tracks in it.

This particular day was very overcast, but somehow it just seems to add intensity to the photos, which I really enjoy.

The crash of the waves on freshly swept sand.  It almost feels like I’m there again.  I hope you enjoyed my interpretation of the sand prompt.  Let me know what you think in the comments.

    1. Yep, they have these big tractors that rake the sand every morning. Those lines on the sand are like a rebirth… every morning the sand is new and untouched and ready for the day. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. Stop by again soon! 😊
