Elemental | Spring at the Beach

This weeks photo prompt is Elemental.  Anyone who has spent any amount of time on my blog knows how much I love water.  I’m drawn to it.  It soothes my soul.  So when I was feeling particularly stressed out back in April, I took off for a couple of days to the beach.  I went out there late one night and as soon as my room began to lighten I hopped out of bed and headed out onto my balcony.  It was cold, dreary, and windy… I stood there with my eyes closed listening to the waves, letting the wind wash over me.  It was some of the most peace I’ve experienced this year.  Well worth getting lost in the dark the night before 😂.

So technically, would that be earth, wind, and water?

  1. It sounded like a wonderful escape for you. The wind washing over you sounds like it washing your problems and weariness away. Lovely photo and that figure looks so lonely, but also so strong – one against nature and the world…or being a part of nature and the wild without any fears. Hope you get to visit the beach again soon 🙂

    1. It definitely felt cleansing. There is just something about that wind that comes off the ocean… it’s unlike anything else I’ve experienced. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! I hope to see you again soon.
