This week’s theme is the open road. Take a photo of highways, byways, or airways… as long as it gets you were you’ve got to go. How simple is that! You can narrate your thought process when taking the photos, or you could just post the photo(s).
Here’s the rules:
1. Pick up your camera.
2. Take three shots.
3. Post one, or all three. Just post!
4. Don’t forget to tag – Take Three Challenge.
5. Pingback or comment below so I can find your submission.
I will post a new challenge every Thursday and you have a week to post your photo. Each week I will select a few submissions to feature on the next weeks challenge post.
Here are my shots for Week 3:
Wednesday’s ‘Wordless’ post was a hint at the theme this week. The minimally edited original of that photo is also the featured image. Over the weekend I happened upon some walking trails down by the river… which I also happened upon. You drive under quite a few of these bridges as you look for somewhere to park on these narrow windy roads. I fell in love with how the bridges looked against all of the overgrowth. There is one particular bridge (that I wall share another day) that the second I laid eyes on it, I instantly regretted not having a camera in the car… other than my phone of course. I got a couple good photos of it. But I found it hard to concentrate considering I was standing in the middle of the road in the middle of a curve, listening for oncoming traffic lol. (there was none btw).
All that to say, the featured image is actually the first photo I took, not the third. But this was my three in that series of photos.
This challenge is still in its infancy. In week 2 there were two participants… head over to their blog and show them some love:
Of Tangles and Tears | Take Three, Red, White, or Blue – She shared a photo of some decorative grass that she happened upon while out on a walk with her husband.
jheart2hearty | Take Three Challenge | Week 2 – She shared a wind blown photo of a hibiscus.
Don’t forget you have a week to post your challenge photo and don’t forget to include a pingback, or I can’t find you. I look forward to your submissions. In the meantime, have a great weekend everyone… until next week.
