Take Three Challenge | Week 1

1 July is the 183rd day of 2016.  We are officially at the halfway point of the year.  So I thought this would be a good day to start a photo challenge.  Yeah I know… do we really need another one?  Yes!  It is the summer, stats are down a little… what could it hurt right?  It’s one less day of the week that you have to ask yourself ‘what should I post today’.

Inspiration for this photo challenge came from my experience.  See, when I take photos, I typically take three shots before I get the one I want.  I take the photo, look at it, typically I find I am not pleased, so I reframe and shoot again.  The third shot is usually my money shot lol.  So here’s how it works:

Pick up your camera (Nikon, iPhone, whatever… I’m not picky)  Pick something random, or not so random and take three photos of it.  There’s no theme, just pick up your camera and shoot.  How simple is that! You can narrate your thought process when taking the photos, or you could just post the photos

Here’s the rules:

  1. Pick up your camera.
  2. Take three shots.
  3. Post one, or all three.  Just post!
  4. Don’t forget to tag – Take Three Challenge.
  5. Pingback or comment below so I can find your submission.

That’s it!

I will post a new challenge every Thursday (after this week) and you have all week to post your photo.  Each week I will select a few submissions to feature on the next weeks challenge post.

Here’s my three for Week 1:

I used my third photo as the featured image for the challenge.  I hope you enjoy and I look forward to your submissions.
