This week’s photo prompt is Pure. According to Bing, pure means not mixed or adulterated with any other substance. It took a while for me to think about it, but I think I came up with the perfect photo.
It was COLD the day I took this photo. I was on the Asssateague Island National Seashore watching these two kids play. They were laughing and running and trying to build sand castles in the 50° weather. The wind coming off of that ocean wasn’t even trying to play games. But neither of these kids cared that spring had yet sprung at the beach. They were bundled in their winter gear playing like it was 80°. They weren’t about to let a little (a lot) of cold wind stand in their way of fun at the beach. To me, that is joy in its purest form.
I hope you enjoyed my take on Pure. BFN!
I can completely relate to this purity… wonderfully captured in picture and words!

To enjoy something like a child is something wonderful. I like your interpretation.

Thanks 🙂 ! Children possess the most purest form of joy I think I’ve ever seen. These too didn’t care about anything but playing in the sand. It was pretty awesome to watch. Just watching them have fun made me happier.
