Today’s Crayola Color is Yellow Green. This multi-tonal hydrangea is gorgeous and though it is yellow-green in nature, it has little of the sample color in it. But don’t get it twisted, it is there.
I left it uncropped so that you could see all the variation in the color that this photo has to offer. I love hydrangea, but, and I know I’ve mentioned this before, I am just incapable of keeping them alive. Some day I will have a backyard full of them (and a gardener on speed dial to keep them alive lol). Okay, that it for today… or at least for now. I have some more cleaning to do. I am only about half done for the day. Have a wonderful Thursday!
BFN.
That’s a healthy looking specimen. My dear Mum had a fab garden which I used to enjoy looking at as well as helping her tend. She had a few different hydrangeas, but none this colour. She’s now in an aged care home with dementia, so she doesn’t get the chance to go out and see the flowers any longer — she loves it when I bring photos of flowers I have photographed. Next time I visit I’m going to show her this post, as I know the sight of a hydrangea will bring some joy to her. 🙂

Sorry to hear about your mother, but I am glad to hear that this photo might bring her a little joy. I don’t see them in this bright green color often, but I have seen a few of them. They are so much more beautiful to me than the pink and blue ones because they are so different.

Yes, I agree about this colour. The others seem a little “old fashioned”, whereas this one oozes “present day”…if that makes sense? 🙂
