First Blossoms of Spring

As I stated yesterday, I went to DC yesterday because it was a beautiful day.  I also went because the Cherry Blossom Festival starts on Sunday and it’s supposed to rain (sleet and snow) on the first day.  So I wanted to catch the magnolia blossoms, which have already begun to fall and the first cherry blossoms.

I also wanted to see the monuments around the Tidal Basin that I hadn’t gotten to see before.  The monuments around the Tidal Basin are the Jefferson, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, and Martin Luther King Jr. Memorials.  So that is exactly what I did.  You’ll see those photos at a later date.  It was so very windy yesterday that photos of the Memorials are the only ones that came out the way I wanted them to lol.
