On The Move

This week’s photo prompt is On the Way.  We are supposed to show photos of the sights along the way to a destination.  In this first photo, we were moving to Colorado.  This photo is from Summer 2008.  I took this photo because I loved how the rolling hills looked.  I believe we were in Kansas along I-70.

These two photos below were taken on the move back to the East coast from Colorado Winter of 2013.

Everything is that funky green color because of a filter I used… I thought it gave it a little interest where there was very little to look at lol.  This was bright and early one day, again on a stretch of highway in Kansas.  Here is what it looked like in Missouri that night…

The difference a few hours make right?

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my contribution.  Leave me a comment below and let me know what you think.

    1. We did that trek a few times from Colorado to North Carolina. Our last trip across was to Maryland, that was a doozy of a trip let me tell you. We were moving and for some strange reason it never occurred to me to check the weather. Made for a very interesting and miserable drive. Anyway, I’m glad you stopped by and left a comment. Thank you :).

    1. I am glad that you enjoyed my photos. I love those wind turbines in Kansas. I think I took a photo almost every time I went past them lol. I took those last two photos with my cellphone. I think because of the perspective and the darkness you can’t help but feel like you are behind the wheel driving in a snowstorm. Again… I’m glad you liked them. Thanks for your comment and thanks for stopping by!
