Orchids Part I

DSC_0231As you guys know, I went to Howard Peters Rawlings Conservatory last week.  It was so beautiful there.  Particularly their Orchid Room.  I have never seen so many orchids in one place.  It was a little overwhelming truth be told because I didn’t know exactly where to start.  However with this blog… I do know where to start… This is the Orchid Room.

Not big, but boy is it chocked full of beauty.  This blog is part of a two-part series, so you.  I didn’t photograph everything in this room, but I did get about 11 or 12 them before I checked the time and realized I needed to check out the palm room quickly then I had to get going.  So next time, I’ll meander a little longer.

Aren’t they some of the most beautiful little flowers you’ve every seen?  I love blooms and I take a lot of macros, as you know if you have spent any amount of time with me here at The Daily Blabber.  I want you to be able to see the detail like I do.  My photos don’t always portray what I am going for, but you can see the detail in most of these photos.  Aren’t they gorgeous?

Anyway, I have to get moving, lots and lots to do today and I really need to get started.  I hope everyone is having a great day and I’ll see you back here tomorrow.  Leave a comment and let me know what you think about today’s post.
