So I have very little to say today, so I figured I would just post some photos of roses. I love roses but not red ones. Even my favorite cut rose is fuchsia. They smell absolutely wonderful. The roses at Brookside Gardens reminded me of my favorite roses. The deep pink almost red ones in the middle beds smelled a LOT like the once William always gets me. Anyway, on with the show!
This is the rose that was creating all the smell. The rose bush was taller than me. However my nose was at bloom height lol. I deeply inhaled the wonder. (sorry garden people, I had to stand in the bed to do that)
I was really fond of this rose-bush as it was located right in front of a little lemon tree. So I have quite a few photos of this lone bud and the lemon tree. The lemon tree on their own wasn’t that interesting, but I love how it looked in bokeh. Have a great day guys! I’m off to pick up my monster from school.
Roses! One of my favorites…beautiful photographs.

Nice photos, I wish I could smell them from here. Across the street from my kids’ school there is a dahlia garden. The dahlias are beautiful, but they don’t have a pretty scent. We do have two rose bushes at our house, though. 🙂

Dahlia’s are nice to look at, but they don’t smell like much. All flowers should smell as pretty as they look. Thanks for your comment!
