What’s messier right now — your bedroom or you computer’s desktop (or your favorite device’s home screen)? Tell us how and why it got to that state.
I keep my computer neat and orderly. I only place things on my desktop temporarily. These temporary items usually consist of screenshots, scanned documents awaiting proper placement, and photos that I’ve downloaded to use on the blog. Before I shutdown I always ensure that these documents are deleted or hidden away in the proper folder. I like a clean desktop.
We keep three hampers in the corner and yesterday was laundry day. I didn’t feel up to laundry day so this corner is still filled with laundry. Overflowing is a better word. My husband is a hobo. He can be standing within 15 feet of this hamper at any given moment he’s in this room. Yet he’d much rather drape his dirty clothes over the chair in the corner than walk a few feet to a hamper. Keep in mind I also keep a hamper in each bathroom. There really is no reason I should have to rescue this chair daily.
I cleaned off my nightstand and armoire before leaving town last weekend, however my dresser is currently hidden under a stack of mail waiting to be sorted. Lucy is taking great offense to the fact that there are boxes on the ottoman at the foot of the bed. This is her area so she voices her disdain as she jumps up on my bed for her morning nap.
My room is a mess. I admit that. But my desktop is spotless. 🙂
