This week, share a photo that says “adventure.” It could be an image of someone setting off on an epic journey, a photo you took on an adventure of your own, or something more metaphoric that represents a personal or psychological adventure. We’re excited to see where you’ll take us!
I am not afraid of heights, I am afraid of falling. So when I see people doing things high up I almost always take notice.
When we lived in Colorado we lived close by the airport. The airstrip ran down past the school and sometime sitting in the parking lot you could actually see planes taxiing down that strip.
Anyway, I never knew exactly where the hot air balloons lifted off from but I know it was somewhere near that airstrip. I would go out almost every morning (when it was warm that is) to take Andre to school and see the hot air balloons out in full force. I loved watching the balloons float overhead. I would have never taken a ride, I’m a big chicken. But I do regret not finding out where they were taking off from. I would have loved to be there to see them taking off and coming back in.
To be afloat as if on a cloud. Drifting over the city without a care in the world. Must be nice.
interesting adventure and nice photos. Thanks for the post. Have a look at my post as well. 🙂

Love it. Reminds me of near Tellluride and also Arizona, where there are lots of balloons. Pretty sure I wouldn’t be enjoy one, as I have a fear of heights, but they’re beautiful.

I agree with you about them being beautiful. I also agree with you about not enjoying being in one. I like the ground. I just like to look at them lol.

Lovely shots. I really like the silhouettes in particular.

Thanks. Yeah, they were always pretty far away by the time I got back from taking my son to school. (you wouldn’t think a balloon could travel so fast lol) I would still try to get a shot or two of them though. These were a few of the better photos that I have.
