When was the last time you experienced writer’s block? What do you think brought it about — and how did you dig your way out of it?
I get writers block all of the time. It’s mostly because I have school brain. I get up every morning and all I can think about is the work that I have due this week. I set a goal of what I will do today for school. When I am done for the day my brain is usually more susceptible to allowing me to think about other things, like blogging.

Before moving to Maryland, to defeat writers block I would take my camera up and go outside. Even if I just walked around the neighborhood and took landscape shots I was doing something. Then if I didn’t have words dripping off of the tips of my fingers when I got back I still had something to blog. Here in Md I haven’t wanted to go out with my camera. In case no one made you aware, it’s humid here. I hate humidity. So other than when I went to visit the in-laws for the 4th of July my camera has been in its bin, locked up tight.
I love my camera. She has gotten me through many days where I simply had nothing to say. I should be nicer to her. Maybe this weekend. Maybe I have camera block… photo block? Is that a thing? 🙂
