This week, share a photo that foregoes the straightforward in favor of the twisting and winding.
This was from our trip to The Paint Mines when we still lived in Colorado. Technically I guess it’s not a Zig or a Zag, but if you wanted to go in a straight line, the only way to do that was to go up. We did a lot of climbing that day. That’s a fascinating geologic formation.

Technically there wasn’t a mine, just a series of caves and rocks. Not very big ones either. I’m not exactly sure why they call it a paint MINE.
