Snow Day!

Here we are in Maryland, and it’s snowing again… yeh :\ .  The family is home today, vegging out because, well, they got a snow day.  So I figured I’d take one too.  Now homework for me today 🙂  Can you tell I’m already bored… anyway!

I decided to go out on the balcony today with the camera.  My neighbors across the way probably think I’m crazy lol.  I don’t care.  The snow really isn’t so bad when you don’t have to be out in it.

DSC_0007I tried to take this photo with my Canon this morning, I posted it to Facebook… I think it is time for me to retire my old Canon point and shoot.  The photos have been kinda iffy lately.  I used it for Christmas because I had forgotten to charge the battery for the Nikon and I only got 4 good photos out of the bunch.  I hate it when that happens.

DSC_0008Meet the Super.  Today they are scrapping the road during the day.  Typically they are out here anywhere between midnight and 3am scraping the parking lots and road.  Vroom, vroom, vroom, vroom (and yes that is how it sounds when they are doing it) is not what you want to hear at 3am.  Or midnight for that matter.

DSC_0009This photo, is of the parking lot and the lower half of the apartment complex that we live in.  It would be pretty… okay I don’t know how to finish that sentence.  LOL At least the snow makes it kinda pretty.  Hopefully Spring will bring with it a little color.

DSC_0012“I don’t care about the snow Daddy, I gotta go!”

He walked out there as I was looking for something to take a picture of.  The dog had such a look of determination on his little puppy face when he crossed the street.  You can tell, he had to go.

DSC_0016This is a shot of the opening of the apartment complex.  I think they are spreading salt.  Not that it will do any good.  They are only putting it down the center of the friggin road.  *sigh*

DSC_0019That is my car down there in the center park.  I haven’t moved it since Friday.  These people are vicious about the parking spaces.  If you move, you lose.  Has me considering getting a damn garage I hate to say.  You can’t even go to get groceries around here because you’ll have no where to park when you get back.

DSC_0018Just ask this guy… they will be parking on the other side of the building today.  The front lot is all full. The snow plow will have him good and blocked by morning.

Damn I’m tired of snow.
