Andre has been back in school for almost 2 weeks now. This morning, for whatever reason, we were both up and tipping around the house at 6am. Illegal on multiple levels. He wanted eggs and toast for breakfast, so before I cooked them I decided to open the back door. I hate the smell of eggs in the house. When I opened the back door and stepped out to gauge the weather I got a nice surprise. The hot air balloons were out, and one was headed straight towards the house.
I love seeing the balloons in the morning, though I seldom catch them up so close. In case you’re wondering why I see hot air balloons every morning, I am not sure where the company is, but there is an airport practically across the street from my house, so I see them as they are taking off and landing. You’ll usually only catch them early in the mornings though. About 5 minutes later, I had the eggs on and I stepped back outside the door to see where the balloon was. It was almost directly over the house, so I snapped another shot.
Ride’m Cowboy!
I’ve taken a few photos this summer that you haven’t seen. I just haven’t had the time to sit down and load them onto the iMac. No offense to the iPad, but even with the new retina display, when you load your photos directly on there, even with editing they suck. They come out kinda blurry and I know that isn’t how they look if I load them on the computer instead.
Anyway, I’ve been stalking churches. Of course I haven’t actually gone inside of one, though I’d love to go into this old Catholic church downtown. Just to see how it looks and to see the stained glass from the inside. My beliefs haven’t changed on organized religion and I wouldn’t be sticking around for Mass.
This is all for today. I wish I had more to blog, but I’ve got things to do. William is out of town and I’m redecorating the Man Cave 🙂 He’ll love it, but I have more work to do yet. He’ll be home Friday, which gives me 3 more days to get it just right. I’ll take a picture when I’m done maybe. Makes me wish I had grabbed a before shot. He had decorated it before, if you can call it decorating. It was horrible and cluttered. It’s looking better already. (I emptied the room so I can start fresh) TTFN!!
Pretty!

Great pics, Sunshine! Hot air balloons are so cool! William is letting you redo his space, huh? Or did he have no choice?? lol I’ll be looking forward to seeing the other pics you’ve taken. I love churches, too! I had a 14 hour day today. Gone at 3:30 am. Worked until 11, then out to Dearborn, about 50-55 miles away from a funeral. My aunt’s mom passed this last Saturday after 7 1/2 years in Hospice. Very short funeral at 2pm, then a meal after. Home at 5:30. I’m pooped! Going to call my mom, then go to bed. Later!!!!
