Good morning everyone. It’s snowing in Colorado. Or at least it was the last time I looked out the window. Makes me happy that I went up to Garden of the Gods yesterday. They were talking rain for today, which is why I went yesterday. By the time I was finished hiking I felt much like road kill lol. I had that red sand in my sneaker rubbing the ball of my foot to death, so of course that hurt lol. My knee was sore from climbing the uneven terrain. My hip, well I don’t exactly know what went wrong with my hip… I’m just glad I had my pill box in my backpack and could take some Motrin. Once I changed my socks, and the Motrin kicked in, I felt good again.
Sorry to break your hearts today, but no Garden of the Gods photos today…. we’re not done with the Paint Mines yet. The picture above was taken yesterday morning however. I love when snow hits the peak. I didn’t get the photo last time it snowed up there, it warmed up and it melted too fast. I’m hoping we’ve seen the last of the 80° weather.
Okay, back to the subject at hand…. the Paint Mines.
No I didn’t go in, I couldn’t quite get too it. The rock in front of it was too smooth for me to get up/across. That’s it for today. I am going to watch some DVR and enjoy the fact that the snow/rain has lulled my family into a coma lol. BFN!
I love the yellow colors on the rocks. So beautiful!

Yep, those were my favorite too. The colors were so rich. I am going to have to go through these to see if I have any that are frame worthy. These colors would look good on the walls back home.
