Yep, you guessed it. Another boring blog about planes lol. But I personally love planes. (and am holding one more just for you) I’ll keep this short.
This is the Northrop T-38A Talon. The T-38 is the US Air Force’s advanced jet pilot trainer capable of supersonic speeds. The Talon first flew in 1959. More than 1,100 were delivered to the Air Force between 1961 and 1972 when production ended.
The Thunderbirds Demonstration Team flew T-38’s from 1974 through 1982. A tragic crash involving the demonstration team in 1982 marked the last use of the T-38 by the Thunderbirds. This aircraft is painted in the Thunderbirds’ pain scheme in remembrance of that accident.
Upgrades and modifications should extend the service life of the T-38’s to 2020.
Okay, you can go now lol… see ya tomorrow.
Love them. I blogged a B-52 Bomber not long ago. It was huge. I wanted to join the Air Force because I love planes so much, problem was, I was scared of flying LOL… still am.
