It’s a Beautiful Day

In the neighborhood, a beautiful day for a neighbor. Okay, not really. But it is beautiful in Colorado today. A little warmer than I’m comfortable with, especially since my windows are open today, but beautiful nonetheless.

I spent the day suffering for this beautiful day in Colorado lol. My allergies are acting up something horrible. I also spent the day catching up on my favorite summer reality show, Big Brother. I had no plans to watch it this season, and I started off strong in my determination not to watch it. My husband pretty much put a cigarette out on the forehead of my determination LOL. He came upstairs week 3 I think it was like, did you know Jeff and Jordan are back on Big Brother again? Really? What? They were only my favorite BB couple EVER! So here I sit, obsessed again. Great. William has been betting on losing horses all season. I want Lawon to win he says, I was like He’ll never make it half way, and he didn’t. Then he said I want Kalia to win, and who is on the block for eviction this week, but Kalia… and I gotta tell you, I really hope she gets evicted. She just comes across so fake.  I’m still quite partial to the thought of Jordan winning, again, but who knows what will happen. So many twists and turns with that show who knows what will happen.  I almost think Adam will finally wake up and start to play the game.  God knows he’s been sleep all season.  Well until his Veto win this week.  Keep your fingers crossed that he doesn’t use it to backdoor Jordan.  She’s not the sharpest tack in the box, but she’s still a pretty funny chick and I’d like to see her stay around.

I’ve done absolutely nothing else today.  I sent William to the commissary because I refused to do anything to my hair.  I washed it last night, air dried it, and it’s kinda all over the place today.  I have to start deep conditioning my hair again.  I’ve got some split ends and a little breakage.  I also need a good trim.  It’s been a long dry summer in Colorado and my hair is telling the tale.

As you all know, I say that like there are hundreds of y’all when in reality I’m good if there are 10 of y’all lol, I plan to start a photoblog series starting 12 September.  I was in my dashboard here on WordPress the other day uploading a few photos and I made a startling realization.  A) We get 3GB to store photos, videos, etc for our blogs here, and B)I’ve already used almost 93% of that 3GB. In the course of the last almost 6 years, I’ve written 455 blogs (including this one) and I’m running out of storage space.  How is that even possible that I’ve used that much space.  Man my files must be huge.  Anyway, I have to either rethink the blog series, which I don’t plan to do, switch blog hosts again, which I don’t want to do, store offsite, which I don’t want to do either, or I’ll have to buy some extra storage.  Do I really want to pay for the space when I could easily just go somewhere else, or even start storing over on PhotoBucket? I don’t know, but I’ll have it all worked out soon.  Don’t you worry!

Okay, that’s it for today, I need to get up and get dinner prepped 😦  I really don’t want to cook today lol.  Have a great week all!

  1. Fotki is a good site to store stuff. It has unlimited storage and you can use the URL’s of where each individual picture is stored. I have 25 GB of photos stored there from the past 7.5 years. One time my drive crashed and I lost every stinking picture on my computer. I cried until I remembered that at least all the important ones were stored at fotki. I also like the fact that I can lock certain albums to the public and there’s a hidden area where you can store photos from everyone. I use that area to store some of my blog photos or uh, “other” things that I don’t want even family members to stumble upon.
