Today I Blog With A Heavy Heart….

Zoie has been sick for about a month now… it started with us thinking she had arthritis beginning in her elbows. Then she picked up something at the vet and she has been on antibiotics for the last 3 weeks. Right now, Zoie sits at the animal hospital. Getting IV antibiotics and recovering from surgery. This morning she had to have a biopsy. They think she has Lymphoma. I think I spelled that right. We are hoping for the best. But preparing for the worst. We don’t expect her to make it much longer at the current rate she’s going. She doesn’t really want to eat. She doesn’t want to move. She’s lost 10 lbs in the last month. Pray for my Zoie. Whatever the outcome, I don’t want her to suffer anymore than she already has.

  1. Dear Sunshine and Zoie, We are 2 Maltese dogs, LuLu and LoLLy. We were concerned to read this post today. We also wanted to tell you, though, that our very good friend Avis has Lymphoma (did WE spell that right? Spelling and math are not always our strong suits). Anyway, Avis is on chemo and she has done great. She has really come back. So Zoie, make your humans get a 2nd opinion if they don’t feel all the way comfortable with the first one, and also, look into that chemo thing if your vet says to … OK? We are keeping all our paws crossed for you, you have an awesome pack and your humans are very lucky to have you, and you are lucky to have them. Love, your PaLs, LuLu and LoLLy

It's your turn to say something... What do you think?
