The first day she went out and stayed out a few hours. Came back and walked back in the bathroom window like she hadn’t done a thing in the world. I’m thinking she went out during that night too, but that she came in before I got up because as soon as she ate she was up on my desk and out the window behind it. She stayed out all friggin day and night til about 5am she came dragging in. She thought she was gonna eat and head back out. Apparently when William went out to work that morning he saw a white cat hanging out in the yard that looked like he might be waiting for something… or someone.. named Lucy lol. She came to the window screaming. She was screaming because I’d screened up the windows and she couldn’t get in. I opened the door let her in jacked her up by the scruff her her neck and bathed her to within an inch of her life. Nasty cat running around in this nasty dusty place. She also managed to come home without a collar. I still don’t know how she got that off since it was a dog collar and not a break away cat collar. Did I mention that said collar has her name our phone number and her rabies tag on it. I was livid.
Anyway, every day since she’s been working hard to find a way out. She even tried to get past William so that she could run out the back door. She was so focused on the door that she didn’t see my big ass step in her path til I said something. She quickly ran under the bed. She’s even tried meowing her way out. I guess in that little head of her’s she figures if she meows enough, long enough, loud enough, she’ll get evicted. What she got was a slipper to the face. I flung it across the room at her at about 3am and she was quiet for the rest of the night.
I don’t know what I am going to do with this cat. But I already told William if she gets her little gray ass out again, she’s staying out. Giving me a headache… pfft.
I snapped a picture of her in here sleeping I think it was yesterday, doesn’t look much like an escape convict does she?
